When COVID-19 hit, none were prepared for the radical response required to handle the pandemic. It became quickly apparent that shifting in-person and manual operations to digital solutions was the best path forward to avoid spread of the infection. The Iowa Clinic was able to nimbly respond with a host of digital solutions that enabled them to take care of their community amidst a difficult situation.
This session will be a powerful knowledge sharing opportunity for AMGA members, as we all look back at what has happened in the past several months. It is important that we review the ‘game film’ as it were, and learn from each other so we can create a better healthcare system for the future – specifically how we can utilize emerging digital technology to care for patients in the ‘new normal’ that is upon us.
